Terms and Conditions – Marine Removals

This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for using our Marine Removal services. It covers the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of all parties.

Please be aware that we have limitations on liability as detailed in paragraphs 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 14. Additionally, paragraph 22.a explains the charges you may incur if you cancel.

Important Information

Please make sure to read paragraph 19 which explains the process and time limits for telling us about any loss or damage to your property during transport.  

Exclusions

The following items are not to be included for removal/storage with us:

  • Perfume products, tobacco, cigars, cigarettes, beers, wines, spirits, and the like.

  • Batteries of any kind unless they are built-in and cannot be removed from permitted goods.

  • Portable battery chargers, power banks, or any similar portable power source.

  • More than five (5) E-Scooters, E-Bikes, E-Skateboards, or any similar vehicles with built-in batteries.

  • Money or currency of any kind, jewellery, watches, trinkets, precious stones or metals, silverware, deeds, securities, bullion, bonds, securities, stamps, coins, or goods or collections of any similar kind.

  • Any irreplaceable property including, but not limited to, family photos/videos, children’s drawings/art or schoolwork, wedding dresses and university submissions.

  • Furs worth in excess of £100.

  • Mobile telephones, tablets, laptops or portable media or portable computing devices of any kind.

  • E-cigarettes.

  • Pornographic material.

  • Medicines or drugs of any kind.

  • Perishable items or those requiring a controlled environment.

  • Property likely to encourage vermin or other pests or to cause infestation or contamination.

  • Pets, livestock, or any other living creatures or plants.

  • Combustible or flammable substances such as fireworks, gas, paint, petrol, oil, cleaning solvents, aerosols, or compressed gasses.

  • Any illegal item or substances or items illegally obtained such as illicit, counterfeit or smuggled tobacco or alcohol and unlicensed or unsafe items.

  • Property which is environmentally harmful or that is a risk to property or person.

  • Weapons, firearms, ammunition or explosives or parts, associated accessories, materials or ingredients of all kinds.

  • Chemicals, radioactive materials, biological agents, toxic waste, asbestos or other potentially hazardous substances.

  • Any item that emits fumes or odours.

  • Any item which requires a special license or government permission for export or import.

     

Our Liability

Our liability for any loss or damage to your property during transport is limited to a maximum of £40 per large item/per box.

In the event that you opt to take out our MoveProtect enhanced liability option, this offers increased coverage for your items.   

Claims

If the event of any loss or damage arising, you must notify us in writing within 30 days of delivery. We will then investigate the issue and work with you to resolve the claim.
